I’m Sharon – a former pottery studio manager, lifelong creative soul, and someone who’s learning to live with curiosity, courage, and a bit of humor through life’s unexpected twists. After stepping away from work to care for my aging parents, I’ve found myself in places no one warned me adulthood would take me and asking what comes next?

Life, Otherwise is my space to explore this messy middle. It’s about what happens when life as we know it doesn’t go as expected and how we can choose to show up and live it differently than we ever thought. This is where I share what I notice, what I wonder, what I’m still learning and how curiosity, creativity, and whole lot of reflection are part of the journey. 

Here, you’ll find snapshots from daily life, thoughts on change, aging, and identity, quotes and anecdotes that spark inspiration, and creative and courageous ways to navigate this path. My goal isn’t to have the answers – it’s to share the journey honestly and maybe help you feel a little less alone in yours.
